If you attend a Scout event that requires a permission note and you dont have one, you cannot attend.

(C) BOY SCOUTS.
Amongst our Youth Organisations, chief place is £ to Boy Scouts, Girl Guides and Cubs, all of which enthusiastic leadership and good enrolments. The Guides have Troops at Ryde and Eastwood. The Scouts are divided into two Districts; North West District Moocaboolah; of which Messrs. D. Withers and W. Carr, respectively, District Commissioners. The registrar dates of the various Scouts Groups, given below, indicate) growth of the movement in the Municipality:

The Council's policy has always been to assist Scouts; and it has done so by making grants of money; permitting the erection of halls, on a permissive or permanent basis, on Council property; and by remitting rates land held by the Scouts.
Normally, these bodies support themselves; their main. trouble of late years, especially in the Eastwood and Ryde sections, seems to be the difficulty of acquiring a site for a permanent Hall.
As well as the Scouts and Girl Guides, above mentioned an Epping Group of Sea-Scouts operates in this Area from: a boat-shed on the River near the Railway Bridge.

Group Committee meets on 4th Wednesday of the month
At THE BASEMENT at 6:45 pm, all parents welcome to attend.
